Irishcoons is a small home based cattery located in the Tampa Bay Area of Florida. I am a hobby breeder and all our cats are members of the family and live in our home. Our kittens are raised with us and well socialized by friends and Grandchildren.
We breed for Health, Type, and Temperament, and to that end we continue to produce outstanding kittens that bring joy to everyone’s hearts. We have an active show schedule as presenting a well bred cat to Judges from all over the world and being rewarded for our efforts (in obtaining titles for the cats) gives us great pleasure. Becoming involved with the Cat Fancy is a rewarding experience. Meeting people, making new friends, and showing our wonderful breed off to the public is fun. TICA’s ( The International Cat Association) motto is FUN, FRIENDS. AND FANTISTIC FELINES. While Health is most important, temperament is not far behind. Type refers to the appearence of the kitten/cat. For example, heavy bone, tall ears etc.
What you can expect from Irishcoons is a healthy outgoing kitten/adult. You will have a professional contract stating all agreements regarding the kitten/cat, requirements for spay/neuter for kittens sold as pets, a health guarantee in the form of the Florida State Health Certificate, basic inoculations, test on the stools for parasites, and a blood draw for FIV and FeLV to confirm the kittens are negative for these diseases. Your registration papers will be sent to you upon my receipt of proof of the kitten’s spay or neuter. Adults have already been spayed/neutered; therefore, their papers will accompany them at time of sale. Food that the kitten/cat is used to eating , nail clippers and a comb will be sent home with the kitten. You will receive a brochure which includes information that will help your new kitten or adult adjust to his or her new home. Also included will be information on Pet Insurance. I recommend it for everyone.
What Irishcoons expects from you is to follow the breeders advice on spay and neutering as agreed, to keep the kitten/cat exclusive indoors, to provide adequate veterinary care, and not to declaw, as it is a mutation.. We also expect you to register your kitten in TICA when the papers are provided. It goes without saying that we always love pictures ofthe kittens in their new homes. Putting them up on the kitten page for all to see gives us great pleasure. A brochure featuring my cats is available upon request. Just go to the Contact Us link and email us.
